We'll be using this site to share work, have discussions, post questions, and other things this year.
I will be using this site to post information, videos, links to websites, articles and the occasional extra credit assignment.
Make it a habit to check what's going on here at least once a week.
Every student will be able to create their own page as well. So you will also be able to post things you think other students might be interested in seeing.
A few rules:
All school and district policies apply here. Consider this website a part of our classroom. Use it accordingly
All posts must be related to what we are studying in class.
Any post Mr. Chester deems unsuitable will be bulldozed immediately.
Please notify Mr. Chester about unsuitable or questionable posts at jchester@nusd.org.
Posting unsuitable material may result in your removal from the class wiki page as well as further disciplinary action.
Please use only first names in your posts and in your comments.
Comments may only be compliments, questions, or answers to questions.
If you have already received your invitation to join, you can go ahead and create a new page. Each student may have only one page, for now, but you may add as much as you like to
tot his is a test
Staring off into the depths of the internet, I discover a page I have not visited since the year before. As I approach, I am apprehensive, wanting to discover the long lost treasures of 7thgradegate. As I touch down, I notice that everything has been in a sort of stasis since the summer. Not a word has been uttered, not a page has been changed. I originally start to dig in, but realize how much more this is like a museum then an archeology site. It is better to leave it the way it is, so that others may gaze back and discover the same nostalgia I have stumbled apon. And so, I leave a little paragraph as the only sign I was ever here again, and depart off into new territory, only taking a second glance to see if Mr. Chester scrolled down this far on the page while he was showing it to his class, some time in the future. I will probably never know, although I am content with the mystery of this unknown.
It is probably what will cause me to come back next year.
